Lowers Underated
Yeah, we all know Medina, Julian, and Simpo rule Lowers. Their clips go viral while everyone else just quietly shreds in anonymity. Well this one is for the underated ripper, for Laura and Lakey, for Caio, Fisher, Lucasik, Brendon, and Stu.
It was just last year that I uploaded a video of a very little known Gabriel Medina (www.vimeo.com/23482301). Next year, one of these young bucks could own a gold trestle spike of his own.

Kolohe and Heitor
While the photogs were slogging it out for photos of dudes in jerseys, Kolohe and Heitor snuck down the beach in plain sight and flung a bunch of huge airs on 1 foot waves.

Kolohe Andino
In case you haven't heard, Kolohe surfs pretty well. Everyone says that throws sick airs, but I can't believe the quality of his rail turns.
He here is at Lowers, Rincon, and Huntington.

Winners
The current generation has style and flair. We've been asking for "groms" to learn how to do turns with style, and these guys are leading the charge. Rincon brings out your best, and these 3 have a lot to showcase.

1 Afternoon at Rincon
I slipped under the Orange Curtain up to Santa Barbara and caught Rincon pumping. Everyone got barreled and a few others punted some some crazy airs.

The US Open - UP CLOSE
All these surfers are attempting to acheive the same thing. Their common goal connects them and their lives overlap in a multitude of ways. Each individual makes their own contribution, and the sport progresses as a whole.
Everyone is just as unique as everyone else.
Simpo, Fanning, Kolohe, Navarro, Yeomans, Nathaniel, Bourez, Wilko, Wright, Medina, Hedge, Cansdell, Hopkins

Kolohe Andino - The Warm Up Sessions
It's tough to pull off a neon green wetsuit. But Kolohe undoubtedly does it with style. This is a compilation of about 3 sessions during the week of the US Open. He rips!

The Warm Up - Kolohe, Taj, Navarro, Davis, and Davies
It's so cool to see the lesser known International pros (like Gony from Spain and Jay Davies) show up and surf just as well as all the highly-paid household names. And it's even cooler for the locals like Ted to hold his own with all of them.
But alas, our greatest hopes lie with the groms and these groms certainly live up to the hype. Kolohe Andino and Luke Davis rip with so much style, both on rail and in the air. They're like Slater and Machado, but not young Slaters and Machado, they surf like Slater and Machado do right now.
Much more footage to come!
